Originally from Washington, DC, Monique Garrett is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. With over nine years of municipal government experience, she has worked in various capacities as a Business Development Manager, in a municipal Economic Development Department, and as a Director of Communications. After making the transition to private industry, Monique worked for a local college as the Director of Community Outreach. Upon relocating to Georgia with her family, Monique decided to build upon her experience in economic development and community outreach and pursue her real estate license in Georgia and Florida. Her strength as a real estate agent comes from her ability to relate to families transitioning to a new area and being able to identify the qualities that make that place a great hometown. Her motivation comes from helping others achieve their real estate goals whether that is home ownership, investing or development, Monique believes everyone can use real estate to acquire a strong financial and personal foundation. When she isn’t helping families achieve their real estate dreams, Monique Garrett is chauffeuring her kids to extracurricular activities, planning events for married couples with her husband and always looking for a way to have a positive impact on her community.
